Jennifer Goodman
Jennifer Goodman has a long career as both a Montessori Director and Parent Educator. Jennifer has worked in Montessori for over two decades, both as a teacher as well as head of school. She founded and ran Primavera Montessori School located in South Austin, Texas, from 2002-2014. She has taught parenting classes and workshops, and ran her own parent counseling company. Most recently she went to Shanghai, China to help open up a school for Guidepost Montessori China and heading Guidepost Cedar Park. Jennifer truly believes that “parenting is the hardest job on the planet” and is committed to supporting parents in navigating all aspects of raising healthy children. She has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas.
Kedra Balentine
Kedra has been teaching pre-kindergarten at Rolling Hills since 2018. This is her first year as a Primary Guide and she is in the process of earning her Primary Certification through North American Montessori Center. She has always embraced the philosophies of Maria Montessori and used a child-led, mastery-based approach in her classroom. She believes that the curriculum should be tailored to the child and that each child is on their own learning journey.
Kedra lives in Point Venture with her husband, Dan, and her two teenage sons. She also shares her home with a self-described “zoo”, with three dogs, three cats, and a bunny. These days, however, the bunny spends more time with her in the classroom and has become every student’s best friend.
Kaelynne Prouse
Kaelynne, her husband, Billy, and two boys, Lucas and Beau, moved to Texas from the Seattle area in the summer of 2021. She is originally from Bend, Oregon and studied American Sign Language at Western Oregon University. After having Lucas, she was a stay-at-home mom for 5 years. In her time at home, she was running an in-home daycare. Since Joining Rolling Hills Christian Montessori, she enjoyed her time in the Nido class but has since moved to be co-teacher in the primary class, where she feels she is meant to be. In Kaelynne’s free time, you will find her shopping, crafting, or at the lake. Lago is her forever home!
Isabella Barnette
Isabella Barnette has worked in a Montessori classroom for the last 4 years, primarily with the toddler age group. She is thrilled to be the Lead toddler teacher at Rolling hills christian Montessori. Izzy is a proud mother of a 4 year old, Benjamin Cody. She enjoys painting, writing poems, reading, and anything strawberry!
